How to measure the current number of interfaces on SAP PI/PO systems?

We define the number of interfaces as number of individual application interfaces on an integration platform or SAP backend as a unique combination of the sender, interface name and the receiver.

You can use Test Case Robot for SAP PI/PO to obtain the number of interfaces. The robot is accessible both from SAP Fiori and SAP GUI user interfaces.

Procedure

1. Open Robot

2. Press Open Extended Configuration button

3. Press Import from PI/PO button from top bar menu

For SAP Java SAP PO systems:

4. Select Environment and press Execute

5. Export the list to excel and count number of rows

For SAP ABAP or mixed ABAP/JAVA systems come back to point number 3

6. Select Environment, mark Classical ABAP configuration check box and press Execute

7. Export the list to excel and count number of rows both for this list and list from step 5
