Business Objects allow the definition of parameters. Parameters are used by the Int4 Suite Message Selector and are passed to the Business Object connections, allowing control of the transformations. Parameters are exposed at the Automation Object level, providing the ability to control Business Object behavior from the Automation Object. This ensures the reusability of Business Objects between similar Automation Objects that represent different variants of the same business process.
Parameter definition consist of:

Parameter Id - unique identifier used by connections' scripts

Description - informative description of the parameter purpose

Type - One of the available four types - Checkbox, List, Date, Text

Is Dynamic - if this flag is set field will appear only on Message Selector screen and not on Automation Object screen - commonly used for date ranges

Default Value - optional field to provide default value
For parameter of type List user can specify list entries comma separated
